Naruto Uzumaki: Story of the Protagonist’s Creation

The main character’s name in Masashi Kishimoto’s manga Naruto is Naruto Uzumaki. He is a young ninja from Konohagakure, a fictitious town, who becomes more prominent as the series goes on (Hidden Leaf Village). Because the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox was imprisoned in Naruto’s body and shut away, the villagers ridiculed and hated him. Despite this, he wants to win their acceptance by becoming the Hokage, the head of his village. He is able to become friends with other Konohagakure ninja as well as ninja from other villages due to his carefree, upbeat, and exuberant personality.

Summary of Naruto Uzumaki

Naruto Uzumaki, who was first seen as a young orphan child with blonde hair that was spiky and blue eyes, graduated as a ninja from Konohagakure while developing a close relationship with his teacher, Iruka Umino. As a result of being made fun of as a child, Naruto seeks attention. No matter the challenges, he pledges to surpass all previous leaders and become Konohagakure’s Hokage in order to gain acceptance and respect. As he develops into a ninja, Naruto makes friends that he did not have before, some of whom have family ties. Although Naruto’s sometimes inability to complete the tasks he sets out to achieve frustrates him, other characters think he will make a great Hokage because of the difference he has made in their lives. Naruto, who is now an adult, says that because of his duty as the new Hokage — a lesson he picked up from the Third Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi — the Konohagakure village is becoming his family.

For the summer 1997 issue of Akamaru Jump magazine, Kishimoto based a one-shot of Naruto on the premise that he originally wanted to make Naruto a youngster with fox-like transformation abilities. When contrasting the title character of the Naruto one-shot with the protagonist of his other work, Karakuri, Kishimoto came to the conclusion that the former was more attractive. Read More…
